
The sport of skeet was invented in 1920 by a group of Massachusetts men who wanted to improve their shooting before hunting season. Todays version has become an international sport. A round of skeet consists of 25 targets shot from 8 shooting stations arranged in a semi-circle.

BESA Skeet and Trap ranges are open to the public for shooting from 10:00 to 5:00 from May thru October.Summer Skeet Leagues & Practice from May thru August
Shot on Mon. & Fri evenings from 4:00 to 8:00 with shooters of all levels welcome. There are 3 leagues which consist of "Big Gun" (12 & 20 gauge), "Little Gun" (28 ga & 410) and the Skeet & Trap league which consists of 8 rounds of each trap and skeet.Fall Skeet Leagues & Practice from August thru October
Shot on Mon. & Fri. evenings from 4:00 to 8:00. A great tune up for the fall hunting season and with shooters of all levels welcome. The "Big Gun", "Little Gun", and "Skeet - Trap" Leagues are handicaped. Fall Skeet also provides a chance to shoot under the lights.Winter Skeet League & Practice from January thru March
